MVGHF Vendor Application

The 22nd Annual Mohawk Valley Garlic and Herb Festival committee invites you to apply as a vendor.

This year’s festival will be held September 13th, 2025, from 10 AM to 5 PM. We anticipate more than 6,000 attendees. The festival asks attendees for a $5 suggested donation, children under 12 free, family/group suggested donation is $15.

We accept applications for these categories:

Garlic Grower, Herb/Produce Grower, Fine Artisan, Festival Cuisine Vendor, Food Product Producer, and Non-Profit Organization.

(Non-profits: email us for more information.) Please include a thorough description of your products. This information is used for social media and website updates. New vendors: Please submit $5 application fee only & attach photos of booth set-up. JURIED Items ONLY will be sold by vendors. The decision of the judges is final.

If accepted as a vendor: Vendors do not have exclusive rights to the sale of any particular item. All vendors must provide their own shelter with business signage and adequate tie-downs. Prepare for grass or pavement. The festival is held rain or shine. A “no-show” from a vendor results in no invitations to future festivals. Vendor spaces are limited and particular spaces are not guaranteed. Double booths are only given to demo booths. If application is accepted, the fee is nonrefundable. A Best-in-Show is awarded each year - decorate accordingly. Set-up for all vendors is on Saturday from 7AM to 9:30 AM. You may be assigned a specific load-in time frame.

Please note: The festival will end at 5 PM. Early teardown results in no further invitations. “Sold-out” signs will be provided to vendors whose products sell out prior to 5 PM, but the vendor booth MUST stay intact! 72 hour cancellation notice is required. Do NOT bring your pet with you. NO dogs allowed inside festival grounds.

Electricity: Are you bringing a quiet inverter generator? Please notify us.

All vendors must post any required permits and licenses. Vendors MUST provide proof of liability insurance.

Food Product vendors must be able to provide processing licenses and applicable permits to any NYS official inspector. All Festival Cuisine vendors are counted as 2 spaces (Please provide photos of and the exact length of your set up.) and must meet all local health department regulations. Food Product vendors must be able to provide processing licenses and applicable permits to any NYS official inspector. Festival Cuisine vendors and Food Product Producers must include at least one food item that is garlic and/or herb flavored on their menu.
