Eat, Stink and Be Merry!

Local educator John Stehnach conducts a guided walking tour of Moss Island’s phenomenal geologic “Potholes” and Lock 17 on the Erie Canal, one of the nation’s highest lift locks. Tour leaves from Benton’s Landing at the end of Canal Place. Tour is free.

*NOTE* Involves walking and climbing rugged terrain. Slippery when wet. Please wear sturdy hiking shoes or sneakers.
